This Level 3 IT support course gives you a strong grounding in the digital workplace. You’ll learn about the structure of the IT support industry, the policies and legislation that shape it, and the professional skills employers value most – from clear communication to problem-solving and teamwork.

Practical skills for IT, cloud and data

You’ll gain valuable experience with network infrastructure, cloud services and IT systems, developing the ability to configure and troubleshoot devices, manage helpdesk tickets, and install and maintain applications. Data management is also a key focus – you’ll learn how to source, cleanse and analyse data, before turning insights into easy-to-understand visualisations.

Building confidence in security and digital transformation

As digital security becomes more critical, this course introduces you to risk management, SIEM tools and vulnerability assessments so you can help keep organisations safe. You’ll also explore digital transformation, including Agile and Waterfall project management and learn how to act as a digital champion who supports innovation and change in the workplace.

Flexible, supportive and progression-focused

Delivered online with structured tutor support, the NCFE Certificate in Digital Support offers flexibility without sacrificing depth. Assessment is portfolio-based – meaning no stressful exams – just practical work you can showcase to employers. The qualification also carries UCAS points, supporting your progression to higher education or further professional training.
