As a Penetration Tester, you’ll be the one simulating cyber attacks to uncover security flaws before hackers do. Your day-to-day will involve ethical hacking, vulnerability assessments and security testing to keep businesses secure. You’ll work with security teams to strengthen networks, applications and cloud systems, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
In Network Security Operations, you’ll be the first line of defense against cyber threats. You’ll monitor network traffic for suspicious activity, respond to security incidents and ensure firewalls and security protocols are up to scratch. This role is ideal if you love problem-solving, real-time analysis and keeping digital infrastructures safe.
As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, your job is to stay one step ahead of cybercriminals. You’ll research the latest cyber threats, analyse attack patterns and provide businesses with insights to prevent future security breaches. If you’re naturally inquisitive and love investigating digital threats, this role is for you.
Vulnerabilities are weaknesses in digital systems, and as a Vulnerability Analyst it’s your job to find and fix them before attackers do. You’ll use scanning tools, penetration testing techniques and security audits to keep systems locked down. "Course was clear on what is needed, but if you are like me who hardly touched cybersecurity and no little about it, there will be a information overload, so be prepared to consume a lot of course material as the course can become overwhelming, The tutors are helpful and knowledgeable, the course time was ideal as it was only 4 days a week at 3 hours a day, the workbooks required a lot a writing and recommends following the rubric for writing the answers, only pain for me was the marker would send the workbook back for correcting and then resubmission, now resubmissions are unlimited, my course is a very pleasant and understanding lady, she was always available to offer support when needed."
