"I recently completed the IT Support course at Netcome, and it was a truly valuable learning experience. Throughout the program, we covered a wide range of concepts, including the six troubleshooting steps, hardware components, networking,ITSM and virtualization. The instructor was exceptionally knowledgeable, with deep industry experience and a teaching style that made complex topics easy to understand for learners at all levels. The sessions were highly interactive and engaging. The lessons were well-structured, and the teacher always ensured everyone could follow along. I especially appreciated the career coach and the hands-on projects, which helped us apply what we learned in real-world scenarios. The role-play sessions simulating help desk situations were also a great way to build confidence and practical skills. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be to include even more practical lab work. I understand this can be challenging in an online format, but with today’s technology and virtual lab environments, it would be great to have more opportunities to build and troubleshoot systems directly. Overall, this was an excellent and interactive course that provided a solid foundation in IT support. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to start or advance their career in IT."

"Great training program, easy step by step guide with a great tutor. Plus, after the 12 weeks online course is over (live via teams 3 hours-4 days a week). There teams career coach, help after the course plus they still support and guide you (hopefully into the IT sections) 6 months afterwards"

"I went into this course a bit anxious and hopeless for my own sake. Thinking that I'm doing this for nothing, needless to say I've come out thinking the opposite. I entered having no knowledge of I.T support and didn't know anything in regards to the subject. However thanks to the amazing teaching of Doug Brooks, I feel a lot more knowledgeable on the subject. I have never had such an amazing teacher compared to Doug, grateful for this chance to be taught by him. I would recommend Netcom to anyone who is looking to study something technical or related to I.T "

"I started this course with zero experience in social media or web design, and I’m genuinely amazed at how much I’ve learned. Gary is an excellent instructor and he’s incredibly knowledgeable, and explains things in a way that’s easy to grasp, even for complete beginners like me. From the in's and out's of owning and running a business, to marketing related knowledge, social media platforms, deep-diving into AI, as well as web design. The knowledge is highly valuable and practical. What really stood out was how empowering it felt to learn skills that directly support marketing your own business. As someone exploring entrepreneurship, I found the content both inspiring and practical, and it’s given me the confidence to take the leap and start building my own brand. The course also offers a solid foundation for entry-level roles in marketing (but have not had any luck as yet). The only downside was the employability sessions; while well-intentioned, they didn’t add much value for someone who’s already familiar with the job market. Overall, the Social Media and Web Design is a fantastic learning experience that’s hopefully opened up new possibilities for me. Highly recommended if you're looking to upskill or pivot into digital marketing. "

"Taking the Social Media and Web Design course at Netcom has been such a great experience. My tutor, Gary Murrain Meade, was amazing, very knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to share real-world examples that made everything easier to understand. I joined the course hoping to learn more about SEO and web design to help me on my entrepreneurship journey, but it turned out to be much more than that. It really opened my eyes to the full process of building a business, from developing an idea and doing market research to creating a proper business plan. I also learned so much about social media strategy, like understanding customer personas, mapping the customer journey, and planning campaigns using tools like Later.com, Canva, and different AI tools. Gary made every session engaging and full of insight. Honestly, he’s like a walking library of knowledge! Another great part of this course was the people. My classmates were all friendly, supportive, and always willing to share their knowledge and experiences, which made the learning environment even more enjoyable and inspiring. Overall, this course gave me the confidence and skills I needed to move forward with my business goals. I’m really grateful for the support from Netcom and would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn practical, up-to-date digital and business skills."

"When I registered with Netcom I had no idea how much I will learn my focus was learning about this scary AI which was coming to take our jobs. Today I stand confidently knowing how to start my own business, running using digital channels which was also a scary territory for me. Today with the knowledge it isn't so anymore. I can even do my own website and check how and apply strategies on how to remain competitive. As a nurse would they not put AI on the outline I wouldn't have picked it. They also gave us tools for careers. The tutors were very patient and knowledgeable in their subject matter. All lessons were interconnected and at the end it all came together. Thank you Netcom"

I have a fresh perspective and clearer current understanding of what I have been doing for the last twenty years, in social media content creation and marketing. I wonder how I managed without the knowledge and focus that I have now. I feel like given the opportunity I could conquer the world with my new skills which include business plan creation and website design. I have astounded myself with what I have developed under the carefully guided instruction of Gary our lecturer. He has been amazing and patient. Time for everyone. Soothed all the panicked moments where I felt overwhelmed. Thank you Netcom for allowing me to take part in this amazing course. I will share with everyone who asks, and boast about your institution. "This course just opened my eyes to so many possibilities and avenues to work on social media, that I always thought was really difficult and needs specialised knowledge and experience. Gary made everything so easy to understand and follow, I feel I am ready to implement this learning in real life and excel. For me the best part was how AI can be integrated in your everyday work, simplifying and taking things to the next level with such ease. I would definitely recommend this."

"From Zero to Hero - A Truly Transformative Experience with Netcom The Social Media Marketing programme at Netcom has far exceeded my expectations. Coming from absolutely no background in marketing or social media, I can honestly say I’ve gone from zero to hero thanks to the incredible structure and delivery of this course. The programme is exceptionally well designed, with a clear, logical progression that makes even complex topics easy to grasp. What stood out most to me was the multimodal teaching style combining visual, auditory, and hands-on learning, which made the content engaging and accessible for all types of learners. As someone who values neurodivergent-friendly learning environments, I found the teaching methods refreshingly inclusive, flexible, and supportive of different processing and learning styles. A special mention must go to Gary, whose teaching style truly makes this course shine. His patience, clarity, and genuine passion for the subject are evident in every lesson. He takes time to ensure everyone understands the material and creates an atmosphere where questions are always welcome. Gary’s ability to explain concepts in a practical, relatable way made learning marketing not only approachable but genuinely enjoyable. I can’t recommend this course highly enough to anyone considering a career in marketing or wanting to upskill in today’s digital world. Netcom has built a programme that’s both empowering and transformative, and I’m deeply grateful for the journey it’s taken me on."

"I had the privilege of following a course at Netcom with Gary. The course gave us not only all the necessary theory but also a wealth of practical exercises and assignments to integrate. I especially enjoyed the quizzes on Socrative, the high interactivity of the course, and the exercises (labs). Gary has been incredibly patient and an inspiration for the group, fostering a safe, friendly and engaged atmosphere. Thank you!"

"practical focus — we learned how to use real AI tools that can be immediately applied in everyday work. Everything was clear, structured, and without any spare or overwhelming theory. The instructor explained each topic in an accessible way and was always ready to give extra support when needed. Now I have a clear and systematic understanding of how to create a business plan, build a marketing strategy, and even develop a simple website using effective AI tools. I also know which metrics to track and how to manage social media more strategically. Most importantly, I’ve gained a holistic vision of how to grow a business through digital presence. These insights might not be enough for a large corporation, but for small businesses, they are perfect — because small business owners don’t have time for endless theory. They need clear, efficient, and working tools — and that’s exactly what this course provided."

"Thanks to Gary, I had a great time learning and growing my confidence using AI / training up on SEO optimization / website creation. Course was well paced and offered alot of support in and out of class if needed, with alot of support on what services to use and recommendations on what to do to start your own business if thats what you want. Gary was very engaging and kept checking on you and would have activities to make sure you are paying attention as goes on. The course is wonderful if you can commit the time as it is a long course and it can feel a bit over whelming if you have to balance a job at the same time, but Gary adn the rest of the team are there to help and support too. "Had an absolute blast attending this course. Anyone at all can try to teach IT or even learn IT just from watching youtube videos but few really capture the right way to teach. Every lesson I attended it was obvious to see the level of quality that Netcom as well as my tutor has made sure to reach for our lessons. I have been very satisfied and content with how Netcom has offered their IT training. Also, a big shout out to my tutor, Antwan Atkins. No matter the scale of knowledge in terms of IT there were within the learners, patience and support was always available and everyone was always given the opportunity to share their thoughts. I can personally say that I love the way that the classes are set out as it ensures that no one is left behind. Even in the event of this happening, further support is extended towards the learners. There hasn't been even one moment during my time in this course where I felt like I had no one to turn to or that any questions were unanswered or shrugged off. I'm very thankful and glad for the learning opportunity provided (free) by Netcom and for all the continued support that has been provided for me. Cheers again Antwan, couldn't have done it without ya."
